An independent tool for making sense of Disney Vacation Club resale pricing.
When making the big decision to buy into DVC, you're really wondering "what does this truly cost?" Because remaining contract lengths vary by resort, it can be genuinely difficult to compare contracts across resorts and understand what the actual cost is.
On top of that, every DVC resale calculator we could find online is run by a broker — a company that makes money when you buy. Their tools are useful, but they're not neutral. There's also a clear difference in value between stripped and fully loaded contracts that, from what we saw, the existing tools and ratings don't help differentiate.
We wanted a tool that answered one question honestly: of the contracts we're looking at, which is actually the best deal — and what should we offer? Not for the broker, but for us.
Independent. No affiliation with any broker or with Disney. Nothing on this site is sponsored. If a resale listing looks great here, it's because the math says so — not because someone paid for the placement.
Transparent math. Every number the tool shows is derived from inputs you enter and dues histories you can verify. The full formula is on the tool page; nothing is hidden. If you disagree with the projection assumptions, you'll see where and why.
Apples-to-apples comparison. Two contracts with different resorts, sizes, use years, and years remaining look nothing alike at the sticker-price level. The tool normalizes all of that into a single lifetime-cost-per-point number so you can actually compare them. Because the tool projects out the entire lifetime of dues, you can use that $/point value to know what you should expect to pay for every point you use. Today, that number won't look like a bargain — most resorts sit at $20+/point, similar to any rental cost — but 20 years into the future, that same $20/point will be a real bargain compared to cash room rates.

We're Michelle and Brian — based in Austin, TX. After our spring break trip to WDW in 2026 and seeing all the DVC booths across the parks, we decided to look into buying when we got home. We were in no rush since we'd just wrapped a big trip, but as we developed this tool for ourselves and watched contracts come up each week, we eventually landed on a 220-point Polynesian contract at $150/point — pricing our offer based on the best-priced contract we'd found during our search.
With a bit of free time, we turned our spreadsheet into this website to help others doing the same research.
